Pre-Applications

Planning Applications
- Provision of guidance to suit the development in question, from householder applications, right up to major housing developments, or mixed-use schemes.
- Comprehensive management of planning applications, ensuring all required documentation and assessments are meticulously prepared and submitted to the relevant local planning authority.
- Coordination with architects and key consultants, including town and parish councils to support a robust planning submission.
- Liaison with local planning authorities throughout the application process to facilitate timely decisions.
Prior Approvals
- Guidance on whether a Prior Approval is firstly possible depending on the site constraints.
- Management of the pre-submission process, to commission and collate necessary reports and assessments.
- Submission of relevant forms, documentation and assessments to the relevant local planning authority.
- Liaison with local planning authorities throughout the application process to facilitate timely decisions.
Certificate of Lawfulness Applications
- Initial analysis of the case to confirm whether a Certificate of Lawfulness is appropriate.
- Preparation and submission of applications for Certificates of Lawfulness to confirm the legality of existing or proposed developments.
- Detailed research and collation of historical and current evidence to support applications.
- Expert guidance on the legal aspects of planning permissions compliance.
Community Infrastructure Levy
- Guidance on the impacts of CIL on development projects, offering insights on financial implications and strategic planning considerations.
- Completion of relevant CIL forms as part of the application process, and post decision, prior and during construction of the development in question.
- Liaison with relevant local planning authority and stakeholders on behalf of clients to negotiate favourable CIL terms.
- Advice to those wishing to seek CIL funding for an identified project, via the relevant town or parish council, or local planning authority.
Appeals
- Expert representation and management of planning appeals for refused applications or enforcement notices.
- Preparation of comprehensive appeal statements, evidence, and submissions to the Planning Inspectorate.
- Strategic advice on the likelihood of appeal success and guidance through the appeals process to achieve the best possible outcome.
- Expert guidance on the legal aspects of planning permissions compliance.
Community Consultations
- Design and implementation of effective community engagement strategies to gather input and feedback from local stakeholders.
- Organisation of public meetings, workshops, and surveys to ensure comprehensive community participation.
- Engagement with relevant local parish and town councils.
- Analysis and integration of community feedback into project planning to enhance social acceptance and support.
Neighbourhood Planning Guidance
- Guidance on the opportunities of neighbourhood planning for town and parish councils.
- Advise on the approach and milestones relevant to neighbourhood planning.
- Support on consultation events, both prior and during the event.
- Preparation of robust planning policy for inclusion within the neighbourhood development plan.

- A highly experienced Planning Consultant with over 20 years of experience, working 14 years for the Local Planning Authority across several positions. Additionally, working in the private sector where she has led a Planning Team and has been an integral part in securing a significant number of permissions.
- Professional qualifications:- Foundation Degree in Building Renovation and Design, with a Master’s Degree in Architectural Conservation.
- A Chartered Town Planner and is affiliated with the Royal Town Planning Institute and strives to help anyone in need of planning assistance.
- Highly dedicated, approachable and committed to delivering a professional and prompt service.
- An experienced Planning and Urban Design Consultant with over six years’ experience in private planning and design consultancy. Tasha has worked across a diverse range of projects, including rural, residential, and commercial developments, as well as large-scale renewable energy schemes.
- Tasha has led and managed multi-disciplinary teams, bringing together design, technical, and environmental specialists to deliver well-rounded and successful planning outcomes.
- Professional Qualifications:- Master's Degree in Urban Design, BA in Geography.
- A Chartered Town Planner, affiliated with the Royal Town Planning Institute.
- Tasha’s approach combines strong technical expertise with a creative understanding of place, supporting clients through the planning process and helping to achieve high-quality, sustainable results.
